A little about Bricks4kidz
Here is an outline for the class:
Our LEGO® Technic afterschool programmes follow our ethos of “We Learn, We Build, We Play”
We Learn: The session starts with a short presentation. Our LEGO® Tutors present and discuss the scientific vocabulary and concepts that underpin the LEGO® Technic build. Our aim is to develop children's relationships between Science and everyday life.
We Build: The children build their own motorised LEGO® Technic build. Each week will see the children undertake a new challenge. With 4 different degrees of difficulty for each build, the afterschool programme is appropriate for Junior Infants to Sixth class.
We Play: The children enjoy a structured playtime with their build. During this time, our LEGO® Tutors encourage children to use their imagination to modify and enhance their build, and discuss and explore the effects of the changes they have made
Bricks4kidz follow a very structured approach to Lego. We follow the STEM Program - For after-school Classes we have Lego Building boxes and Technical kits. Every week we use alternative options between bricks and technical kits.
